Medical and Scientific Programs The Immune Deficiency Foundation’s Consulting Immunologist program is a physician to physician service that provides a free second opinion or consult on primary immune deficiency diseases. Through our team of expert clinical immunologists, IDF has provided over 500 free consults to physicians since 1998. Medical professionals seeking peer to peer consultations or second opinions on patient specific issues in diagnosis, treatment, and disease management are invited to call the Consulting Immunologist at (877) 666-0866, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Eastern Time or write tb@primaryimmune.org. E-mail requests should include physicians’ name, specialty, and phone number. The Consulting Immunologists Program is supported through an educational grant from Baxter Healthcare Corporation, CSL Behring, Grifols, Octapharma and Talecris Biotherapeutics. |
