The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) engages directly with many federal agencies to advocate for increased funding for research supporting the primary immunodeficiency disease (PI) community and removal of barriers to the development and availability of new and emerging therapies to treat PI. IDF also works with these agencies to ensure that the voice of the PI community is represented in every stage of the development process and to remove any barriers to patients in accessing needed treatments.
